Amtec Staffing has partnered with a reputable and growing General Contractor to identify an experienced Travel Superintendent for a ground-up Maintenance Facility for a leading Clean Energy Company in Lansing, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to join a builder known for delivering high-quality Commercial, Public Works, and Education projects across multiple markets.

This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives in a travel-based position and has strong ground-up construction experience, particularly within hospitality-driven environments.

Project Types:
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all day-to-day on-site construction activities for a ground-up winery project from start to finish.
  • Supervise field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Coordinate inspections, site logistics, and sequencing of trades.
  • Review construction documents to proactively identify and resolve constructability issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and progress updates using project management software.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for ownership, inspectors, and design teams.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on schedule while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience with ground-up construction projects.
  • Proven experience delivering Commercial, Public Works, and Education projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
