Work EnvironmentThe majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer where they will monitor the project and make daily decisions about construction activities. This position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires wearing protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats, safety glasses, and high visibility clothing).
Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear to operate a computer, phone, and telephone. Will also have to use hands and eyes to operate power tools, and construction equipment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
ExpectedHours of Work
Full time position. Extended hours and weekends may apply.
TravelTravel to and from the construction site is required, majority of the work will be done at the site. Most of the travel will be local, but some long-distance and overnight travel may be required depending on the project.
RequiredEducation and Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related job field.
2. Minimum three (3) years of construction related industry experience.
-or- 3. Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
