Job Title:
Assistant Superintendent Essential Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.
- 3+ years of field experience in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, including coordination with other trades.
- Experience in construction supervision on commercial projects.
- Proficiency in construction management practices, including field coordination and quality control.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in K–12 or institutional construction environments.
- Experience in commercial HVAC and mechanical installation oversight.
- Familiarity with construction logistics planning for equipment deliveries and material staging.
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations for a K–12 construction project, with a strong focus on HVAC and mechanical scopes. You will coordinate field activities, oversee installation quality, and help maintain project safety, schedule, and quality standards. This field-based role works closely with subcontractors, trades, and design teams to ensure all work complies with contract documents and project requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
