Line Producer

We are seeking an experienced Line Producer to oversee day-to-day production operations from pre-production through final delivery. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, resources, logistics, crew staffing, vendor relationships, and project workflows while ensuring productions are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with creative goals.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple projects simultaneously. They should be equally confident managing logistics behind the scenes and serving as a professional, client-facing representative of FREE AGE. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build trust with clients, crew members, agency partners, and vendors are essential.

FREE AGE regularly produces work throughout Michigan and across the United States, so candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel for productions, location scouts, and client meetings.

We are open to a variety of working arrangements for the right candidate. Depending on experience, availability, and mutual fit, this position may begin on a project, monthly, or quarterly basis, with the potential to grow into a longer-term or permanent role.

• Strong experience in line producing and production management.
• Experience with commercial, branded, documentary, television, or digital content production.
• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with creative teams, post-production teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Agency, production company, or documentary production experience preferred.
• Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in film, television, media production, communications, or a related field.
