Are you an experienced broadcaster or have you ever dreamed of being behind the microphone? Midwest Communications, Inc. in Lansing, Michigan has a part-time opening that may be perfect for you. This role includes regular air shifts, working live events, opportunities to learn new skills in audio/video production, and digital content creation. You'll enjoy a supportive team, and the energy and excitement of creating entertaining content in Michigan's Capital City!

Responsibilities

• Host or assist with live radio broadcasts
• Prepare for on-air shows with research and content
• Record commercials, promos, and station announcements
• Engage listeners with energy, personality, and professionalism
• Assist with station events and promotions as needed
• Learn the day-to-day operations of a successful radio station

Qualifications

• Strong, clear, and engaging voice with excellent articulation and pronunciation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both on and off-air.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weeknights and weekends.
• Familiarity with broadcast equipment and audio production is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in broadcasting, journalism, or communications preferred.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for this position.
