OverviewThe Associate Photographer is responsible for capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography for and Using state‑of‑the‑art equipment—Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera, and iPad—photographers build an engaging photo portfolio for residential properties within their designated territory.
Responsibilities- Capture virtual tours and footprints of residential homes and apartments using the Matterport Pro 3.
- Take high‑resolution photographs for marketing purposes to showcase properties.
- Maintain and update a portfolio of images that highlights each space effectively.
- Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients, sales associates, research partners, and management to prioritize tasks and assess project needs.
- When not on a residential assignment, navigate around one‑mile grids to ensure commercial real‑estate data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing listings.
- Adhere to CoStar safety standards for equipment and vehicles and represent the company at all times.
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as required.
- Spend up to 8 hours per day sitting, standing, and walking in a vehicle.
- Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera gear.
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying to execute job functions.
- Work outdoors during all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule.
- At least 2 years of professional photography experience.
- Proven commitment to previous employers.
- Experience in real‑estate photography or a recent degree in photography.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and a client‑first mindset.
- FAA Part 107 Drone certification, obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent time‑management, attention to detail, and data entry accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications; familiarity with Apple iOS products is a plus.
- Independent work capability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Base salary: $49,000 – $50,000 (Hourly). Compensation is determined by geographic location, experience, and performance.
