Event Dispatcher

Overview

Michigan International Speedway is hiring a Guest Services Event Staff Dispatcher. The Guest Services team interacts with guests who visit the track and assists them as needed to ensure a positive experience. The Event Dispatcher responds to phone, text and radio requests and deploys event staff to assist guests with their needs.

• Answer phones and text requests in a clear and professional manner.
• Follow radio protocols to communicate with other staff members.
• Stay calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Monitor and record deployments and questions.
• Use the available resources to find answers to questions.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑stress environment.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Positive attitude, friendly and outgoing.
• Clean, presentable appearance at all times and willingness to follow dress code.
• Ability to work with others and take directions.
• Quick to learn and trainable.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with passing motor‑vehicle license inspection report.

This is a part‑time, seasonal position with event‑based shifts and hours that vary based on event needs.
