The Michigan Civil Service Commission’s MI HR Service Center is looking for a motivated individual who is a team player, has great organizational skills, can multi‑task, and excels in a fast‑paced environment. This position provides support to State of Michigan employees for a wide variety of payroll, benefit and human‑resource related transactions and calls in a contact center environment using knowledge base and contact center software.
Idealcandidates will have:
- Customer service experience, ideally in a contact center environment.
- A background in human resource or benefit transactions utilizing contact center software to manage customer inquiries and cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Human Resources Customer Service Representative
While working remotely, you must have an internet connection that can maintain a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps. You will be asked to provide proof of this upon acceptance of an offer.
This position generally requires the education acquired through completion of high school. Specific information on the education and experience required for the different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Customer Service Representative class.
