System Analyst (design lead) responsible for working with project managers, developers and business owners to understand business goals, generate user insights, and translate business and user needs into highly engaging digital experiences. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties may include:

• Establish, document and communicate design standards that embody organizations values (Brand guidelines).
• Oversight of the creation and maintenance of user interface design patterns for use across the State of Michigan (Digital guidelines).
• Create or direct the creation of navigation flows, mockups, and prototypes used to build digital experiences.
• Research and monitor trends and technologies and ensure the SOM’s design practices and tools are kept current.
• Deliver projects and project components on time and on budget.
• Document and communicate your work to teammates and development partners.
• Mentor design team in usability and interface design coding standards, operating procedures and tools.
• Keep abreast of usability best practices and guidelines and use these skills to suggest improvements to existing applications and designs.
