Overview
The Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Karl and Patricia Betz Congenital Heart Center—Lansing Pediatric Multispecialty Center is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Cardiologist for an outpatient-focused role with some inpatient coverage at local community hospitals. Position based in Lansing with outreach clinics twice per month (within 1-hour drive of Lansing).
Responsibilities- Outpatient pediatric cardiology in Lansing and outreach clinics.
- Some inpatient consultative coverage in local community hospitals.
- Required participation in the call rotation schedule.
- Passion for reading cardiac echocardiograms; echocardiograms performed by experienced pediatric sonographers.
- Fetal cardiology and ACHD experiences preferred but not required.
- Research not required.
- MD/DO, BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Michigan medical license.
- BLS, PALS, ACLS (if stress tests performed).
- Multidisciplinary team with full spectrum of pediatric cardiology services.
- Strong outreach network.
- Employed position with Physician Services.
