Join a dynamic team at a premier hospital in Lansing, Michigan, as a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist. This facility is known for its dedicated team of healthcare professionals and provides comprehensive hospital-based IR services. Enjoy a collaborative environment with a team composed of three Interventional Radiologists and two advanced practice providers (APPs). This position offers a day-shift schedule with Q3 call coverage, primarily servicing an adult patient demographic, including geriatrics.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
- Participate in hospital-based IR services with a focus on optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in Q3 call coverage for weekdays and weekends.
- Collaborate with the IR support staff to ensure efficient operations and patient care.
- Maintain documentation and compliance within the standard hospital EMR system.
- Provide care for a primarily adult patient demographic, with a significant geriatric population.
- Evaluate and manage cases involving orthopedic, gynecological, and urological procedures as needed.
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED)
- Active Michigan Medical License (REQUIRED)
- Current BLS & ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED)
- Ability to provide local services with mileage reimbursement only (REQUIRED)
- Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- NPDB self-query must be presented, pulled within 30 days (REQUIRED)
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology
- Active State Medical License in Michigan
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
