After-Hours Teleradiology Radiologist – Independent Contractor (1099). 7 On / 7 Off | Michigan | Evening Coverage. Organization:
After Hours Radiologists PLLC
After Hours Radiologists is a physician-led teleradiology group providing after-hours diagnostic imaging coverage for Michigan hospitals. We are seeking board-certified radiologists to work as independent contractors (1099) in a structured after-hours role focused exclusively on urgent imaging.
Schedule- 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)
- 7 days on / 7 days off (≈182 shifts per year)
- Option for shorter 4-hour shifts if desired
- Fully remote
Michigan hospitals
Case Mix- STAT cases only
- Emergency Department and STAT inpatient studies
- No routine outpatient or elective imaging
Approximately 10–12 RVUs per hour
Compensation & Expected Income- Weekday evenings: ~$45 per RVU
- Weekends: ~$50 per RVU
- Estimated annual income: ~$800,000–$1,000,000, based on volume and shift mix
- 1099 independent contractor agreement
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Evening-only coverage (no overnight shifts)
- Predictable 7 on / 7 off structure with flexibility
- Acuity-focused workflow (no backlog clean-up)
- Physician-run practice with efficient, streamlined workflows
- A
-certified or board-eligible radiologist - Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain
- Strong general diagnostic radiology skills (ED and inpatient)
- Comfortable working independently during after-hours coverage
