Position: Physician / Surgery - Plastic / Michigan / Locum tenens / $3000/24 hours plus $350/hr Plastic Surger
Facility in Lansing, MI seeking Plastic Surgery locums coverage

Rates: $3000/24 hours + $350/hr Opportunity Highlights Coverage Dates: ASAP December 2026.

Schedule:

24-hour trauma call (07:00 AM 07:00 AM); approximately 19 days per month.

Patient Demographics:
Ages 15 years and older (Adolescent through Geriatric).Call Details:
In-person response required for procedures.

Clinic:
Tuesday Trauma Clinic (9:00 AM 12:00 PM) Volume:
Annual ER volume of 90,000. Surgical volume is low (avg. 1 case/month; up to 3/month in summer).Clinical Scope & Procedures The provider will serve as a key component of the trauma team, managing complex hand injuries and facial reconstruction.

Required Procedures:

Hand Trauma:
Traumatic hand reconstruction and hand-related procedures.

Soft Tissue Repair:
Facial laceration repair, skin grafts, and flaps.

Reconstructive:
Scar revisions and minor burn care.

Provider Requirements Board Status:
Board Certified in Plastic Surgery (Required). Must be boarded within 5 years of training.

Note:

Board Eligible candidates cannot be considered.

Licensure:
Active Michigan (MI) Full License (Required).

Note:

No compact or IMLC licenses accepted.

Documentation:
Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the current month (Required at time of presentation).

Certifications:

ACLS and BLS are highly preferred.
