What You'll Do
  • Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
  • Assist with orthopedic, gynecologic, and urological procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with IR support staff, including radiology managers and APPs
  • Provide hospital-based IR services for primarily adult patients, including geriatric care
  • Maintain documentation and follow hospital protocols for procedures and call coverage
What You Need
  • Valid state medical license and board certification in Radiology
  • Minimum 2+ years of interventional radiology experience
  • Proficient in angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and related IR procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and work at least 3 weeks per month for coverage
About the Assignment

This position is at a Level I trauma facility in Lansing, MI, with a dedicated IR team supporting hospital-based interventional radiology services. The assigned Radiologist will provide essential IR procedures, collaborate with advanced support staff, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy hospital environment.
