Pay package discussed upon application; weekly pay via direct deposit; comprehensive medical (W-2); robust referral bonus program; paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate; travel and lodging reimbursed when applicable
- Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
- Assist with orthopedic, gynecologic, and urological procedures as needed
- Collaborate with IR support staff, including radiology managers and APPs
- Provide hospital-based IR services for primarily adult patients, including geriatric care
- Maintain documentation and follow hospital protocols for procedures and call coverage
- Valid state medical license and board certification in Radiology
- Minimum 2+ years of interventional radiology experience
- Proficient in angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and related IR procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work at least 3 weeks per month for coverage
This position is at a Level I trauma facility in Lansing, MI, with a dedicated IR team supporting hospital-based interventional radiology services. The assigned Radiologist will provide essential IR procedures, collaborate with advanced support staff, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy hospital environment.
