The Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan/Michigan Medicine is seeking a clinical-track vascular neurologist to join our Vascular Neurology Division. The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment in the University of Michigan Department of Neurology, with the majority of their work based at University of Michigan Health – Sparrow in Lansing.
This inpatient-focused position offers the opportunity to join a well-established, collegial academic team, with an emphasis on inpatient stroke care and medical education. We anticipate the successful candidate will be qualified for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurology level on the clinical track, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Requirements- Board-certified or board-eligible in vascular neurology
- Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology
- Commitment to excellent patient care, medical education, and collaborative practice
- Provide inpatient vascular neurology and stroke care, primarily at UM Health - Sparrow.
- Provide outpatient vascular neurology care as mutually agreed upon, based on the candidate’s interests and clinical needs.
- Provide telestroke care within the Michigan Medicine Telestroke Network
- Educate and supervise residents in the clinical setting.
- Participate in the academic activities of the University of Michigan Department of Neurology.
