OB/GYN Laborist Physician – Locum Tenens | Fort Mill, South Carolina

HPA Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians for an inpatient Laborist locum tenens assignment in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
The physicians will provide in-house Labor & Delivery coverage at a facility averaging approximately 1,000 deliveries annually. Responsibilities include management of routine and high-risk obstetric patients, deliveries, C-sections, admissions and inpatient rounding.
Assignment Highlights- $225/hour regular provider pay
- $292.50/hour OT pay when applicable
- $337.50/hour holiday pay when applicable
- In-house OB/GYN Laborist coverage
- Approximately 1,000 deliveries/year
- Approximately 3–5 patients during call
- Approximately 1–2 admissions
- 15-bed department
- 10 RNs supporting coverage
- No APP supervision
- No resident/teaching supervision
- Cerner EMR
- Two physicians requested
- Multiple providers accepted
- Travel reimbursed separately within Tenet guidelines
- Malpractice coverage provided
Candidates must be Board Certified in OB/GYN, hold an active South Carolina medical license, and maintain current BLS certification. Temporary privileges are not available. Credentialing is approximately 90 days, although the facility indicates it will expedite.
Tenet requires a current CV, current NPDB and disclosure of self-disclosed events for eligibility review. Providers with malpractice history within the preceding 10 years are not eligible for consideration.
TravelApproved travel is reimbursed separately from provider compensation. Airfare is reimbursable up to $950 round trip, lodging up to a $250/night base rate, with rental car, fuel and eligible mileage also reimbursable according to Tenet policy.
