Job Summary:Adjunct positions are filled by semester on an as-needed basis. Applicants are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications stops once the vacancy has been filled.
Adjunct faculty teach courses in Marketing, possibly at LCC’s downtown campus, extension centers within 40 miles, or online. Responsibilities include developing course content, delivering instruction, advising students, participating in assessments and meetings, and engaging in professional development. Regular on-campus presence is expected. Flexible or hybrid schedules are subject to change based on college needs. Final candidates will undergo a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from a regionally accredited institution.
- Or, a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate credits in Marketing.
- Or, a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least two years of professional experience in Marketing, Advertising, Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Public Relations, or Sales.
Applicants must submit unofficial transcripts for educational degrees. Foreign credentials require evaluation by NACES members. Applications lacking these documents will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master’s degree in Marketing or in any discipline with at least 18 graduate credits in Marketing.
- Previous college teaching experience.
