Job Summary:

Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.

Heavy Equipment Repair instructors must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills with heavy mobile equipment in a lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population. The ability to adjust instructional techniques as required by student's learning style, maintain a positive learning environment, and collaborate with learners and peers in order to establish a positive and collaborative learning environment are very important.

Basic computer skills are a must. Classes may be scheduled during daytime and/or evening hours.
* Open to current AIS Instructors only
* Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an industry-related field and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's Degree in heavy equipment repair with a minimum of five (5) years recent and relevant experience in the equipment industry; OR High School diploma or GED with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant industry experience
