St. Gerard Catholic School is accepting applications for a full-time kindergarten teacher. Applicants must have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate (elementary certified) as well as be able to provide an extensive background check and VIRTUS training, completed prior to hiring.
Responsibilities- Be enthusiastic, hardworking, and possess strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff alike.
- Share faith with children in both knowledge and deed.
- Differentiate curriculum.
- Use technology as a tool to enhance teaching through Smart boards, Chromebooks, and iPads.
- Maintain a strong sense of classroom management.
- Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate (elementary certified).
- Extensive background check and VIRTUS training completed prior to hiring.
- Practicing Catholic.
- Enthusiastic and hardworking with strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
Governing employment with the Diocese or with parishes, schools, and agencies of the Diocese.
