- Current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, USAW, or equivalent).
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Previous experience working with high school athletes or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of sport-specific conditioning and periodization principles.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students while maintaining discipline and structure.
- Monitor progress and work with the coordinator to adjust training plans as needed to ensure student‑athlete development.
- Ensure that all workouts are conducted in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe training facility.
- Educate students on nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention as it relates to athletic performance.
- Stay current with best practices and certifications in the field.
WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only.
Position is for Summer Months:
June 8th – Aug 7th (excluding 6/29-7/3) – 5 days/week, 20 hours/week.
Contingent upon passing post offer background checks.
