- Exhibit patience and willingness to work with children
- Exhibit emotional stability and physical stamina necessary for meeting the requirements of the position
- Clear criminal and professional background check
- Provide small group assistance in all academic "core" subjects
- Work effectively under the immediate direction of a regular classroom teacher
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding all students
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Strategically plan with teachers lessons that will meet the individual needs of students
