• Willingness and ability to submit to a criminal background check

• While riding in a school bus, monitor and assist students with special needs until released to a teacher, designated school employee, parent/guardian, or responsible adult.
• Other duties as assigned.

  Schedule:
  
  Hourly rate (step 1-10) $16.48–$19.11 per hour.
• Paid time off: five days during Spring Break, two additional days during Winter Holiday Break for those with 6+ years; three personal paid days during the school year; two (5) paid snow days when used, with additional paid snow days from accrued personal or sick time up to the maximum allowed by law.
• Sick leave accrual and retirement through MPSERS.
• Eligibility for vision & dental insurance and certain health insurance benefits, or opt for cash in lieu for 30+ hours per week.
• Option to increase hours to 30+ by working in West Ottawa’s Food Service department between bus runs.
