A full-time School Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Mason, MI. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the social and emotional well‑being of students, working onsite in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, counseling, and support services to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Link families and students with community resources and services
- Advocate for students’ welfare and promote a positive school environment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and professional standards
- Must hold full LMSW licensure through LARA
- Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is required
- No or limited license candidates are not eligible
- Ability to work onsite full time within the school environment
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
