The Apprenticeship and Quality Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for apprenticeships, and continuous program improvement across all Technical Careers disciplines. This role ensures programs remain innovative, high-quality, compliant, and aligned with current and emerging workforce and industry needs.

The Apprenticeship and Quality Manager works closely with faculty, Program Directors, divisional leadership, industry partners, and advisory boards to advance program vitality, equity, and student success.

This position plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Lansing Community College by strengthening career and technical education programs in trades, public service careers, transportation, manufacturing, and computer information technology.

Serves as a liaison between program areas and the Center for Data Science in the systematic collection, examination, and interpretation of student learning assessment data. The incumbent will support faculty with assessment tools, technology, and processes. They will establish data workflow and facilitate problem solving when areas of improvement in a program's assessment methods/procedures are identified.

The Apprenticeship & Quality Manager ensures programs remain innovative, maintain exceptional quality, and effectively bridge the skills gap. Reporting directly to the Technical Careers Divisional Dean, this role manages multiple priorities and deadlines and oversees program reviews, operating plans, academic master plans, and divisional activities/events

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan.

Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.

Significant experience providing customer service to variety of stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and/or database solutions.

Demonstrated experience with apprenticeships or work-based learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Department of Labor registered apprenticeships and/or workforce development.

Two (2) years or more of experience in higher education administration.

Knowledge of career and technical education programs.

Experience in workforce development, program assessment, strategic planning, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Two years or more of supervisory or team leadership experience, including oversight of staff, project teams, or cross-functional initiatives.
