Job Description

School Based Paraprofessional Opening west of Detroit, MI

We are now interviewing School based Paraprofessionals to work throughout the school district. This is a supportive school district west of Detroit, MI that offers the opportunity to work the remainder of the 23/24 School Year.

Qualifications:

Must possess an Associate's Degree or Parapro Certificate
Candidate must understand emotional impairments and behaviors, be comfortable with de-escalation, and aggressive behaviors
Need to have at least 1 supervisory reference prior to submission

Job Details:

Full Time

Hours:

37.5 hours/week
Caseload: 1:1 position with 14 year old male high school student, will have assistance at all times except for transport to and from Day Program
ASAP to June 13, 2024 (high likelihood of renewal for the 24/25 School Year)
On-site Only
