Teacher on Special Assignment – Restorative Justice
Positions are available at Abbott Middle School, Borel Middle School, and Bowditch Middle School for the 2026‑2027 school year.
Salary & BenefitsAnnual pay range: $70,977 – $120,072. The role includes a $1,500 stipend for MA & DR, medical/dental benefits for the employee, and 10 days paid sick leave.
Employment TypeFull Time – 186 days per year.
Job SummaryThe Restorative Justice Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) develops and facilitates delivery of school‑based restorative interventions and provides restorative justice services and information to students, teachers, administrators, and community members in support of programs as alternatives to the traditional justice system.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and evaluate restorative justice interventions within the schools.
- Provide restorative justice services and information to students, teachers, administrators, and community members.
- Support programs as alternatives to the traditional justice system.
- Collaborate with the Student Services Department under its direction and guidance.
- Valid California Teaching Credential with CLAD (BCLAD preferred).
- Up to 12 years of experience.
- Submission of three letters of recommendation, a letter of introduction, a resume, and transcripts upon hire.
