Position Overview
Educator
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission emphasizes inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind. Pay Rate: $15.00–$18.00 (based on education and experience)
Program
Hours:
Monday‑Friday 6:45 am–8:55 am AND 3:50 pm–6:00 pm
Position is for the 2026‑2027 school year.
Responsibilities- Daily Program Meetings:
Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and ensure team accountability. - Organize and Facilitate Daily
Activities:
Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages. - Leading by Example:
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals through modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management. - Prioritize Safety and Joy:
Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations. - Communication:
Effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
- Ability to lift 25 lb.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
- First Aid and CPR in person.
- Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Proof of MMR.
- 19+ years of age.
- Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
