• High School English Language Arts Teacher for grades 9-12
• Full time position, regular school year

• Must meet State of Michigan Highly Qualified requirements
  • Current Michigan Secondary Teaching Cert w/ ELA endorsement BA or BX
• Must pass fingerprint check prior to employment
• Proficient in technology and student engagement techniques
• Instruct high school students according to the ELA State standards
• Proficient in classroom management techniques and ELA curriculum
• Ability to:
  • Work in a collaborative manner with department members
  • Use best practices that maximize student engagement and differentiation to maximize learning
  • Use a number of assessment strategies to track and foster student growth
• Attend professional development meetings/training and collaborate with peers for continuous growth
• Experience working with high school aged children preferred
• ESL certified and Bilingual applicants a plus
