Position
Medical Assistant – Instructor, Mornings and Evenings – Monday to Friday.
Company & LocationRoss Education Holdings, Inc. – Lansing, MI (Campus‑based position).
ScheduleMorning Classes Monday‑Friday 8:30 – 1:00. Evening Classes Monday‑Thursday 5:30 – 10:00.
Responsibilities- Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom (maximum 24 students), covering clinical and administrative skills.
- Deliver 4.5‑hour class sessions in day or evening format.
- Learn material and deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
- Part‑time position, typically 9–27 hours per week.

Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in medical assisting or 5+ years working in the medical field with national certification.
- Formal training from an accredited institution; must be able to obtain national certification as a medical assistant.
- Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
- Flexible and passionate about learning and growth.
- Sufficient ability to stand for extended periods and move around the building and classroom, accommodating disabilities as needed.
- Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, use whiteboard and classroom equipment.
- Ability to use current technology to maintain student records.
- Effective communication in classroom and individual settings.
- Knowledge of the materials to be taught and capability to use and communicate Ross curriculum.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ability to achieve or maintain credential/licensure within expected time frames.
- Professionalism in manner, dress, and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor.
- Objectivity and equal treatment of all students.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Adherence to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
- Clinical coordinators must be able to travel to visit clinical sites or other meetings.
- Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum preferred.
