This position is responsible for processing and maintenance of student academic records within the student information system (SIS), which includes but not limited to evaluation and processing of admissions applications, program changes, grade changes, registration, release of information forms, residency determination and maintenance, and student type maintenance.

Adjunct (part‑time) faculty to teach courses in Japanese. Depending upon the program’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class.

Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities and other duties as assigned.

Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks Student Employee’s in their Trades Technology Program. Student employees in this position will work with the Building Training and Assessment Center (BTAC), a collaboration with Lansing Community College, Michigan State University and the Lansing School District. This program is designed to build and expand a knowledgeable and diverse energy workforce pipeline by educating and training college‑level students in HVAC, energy systems, and related topics through a structured, hands‑on educational experience.

The goal is to provide students with real‑world experience while making a measurable impact on local K‑12 schools and small commercial buildings (under 50,000 square feet) by helping reduce their energy use, operational costs, and carbon footprint.

Teach Intro to Health Professions and/or Medical Terminology as part‑time faculty member, primarily on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus with potential assignments at LCC's East Campus or online. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing course materials aligned with industry standards, assessing student performance, and collaborating with faculty and program leadership. Candidates should be team‑oriented, committed to student success, and supportive of diverse learning environments.

Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks a Lab Assistant for their Automotive Technology program. A Lab Assistant functions as the secondary source of instruction in the Automotive Lab to support instruction provided by the instructor of record. Assists students in completing lab projects and assignments by providing necessary instruction. Provides evaluation of student performance as requested by the instructor of record.

Ensures that the lab is set up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class and planned instruction.

Support massage therapy students as a Lab Assistant by coaching, evaluating, and demonstrating skills in clinic and lab settings. This role includes providing feedback, assisting with hands‑on exams, maintaining lab/clinic spaces, and supporting daily clinic operations. Ideal candidates are collaborative, student‑focused, and committed to high‑quality instruction, teamwork, and a diverse learning environment.

Teach courses in Spanish, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college‑wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes.
