ResponsibilitiesThe Adjunct Instructor in the Aviation Maintenance Program will be serving as the primary source of instruction in the classroom or workshop on a variety of aviation maintenance subjects to a diverse student population. Must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills required in all areas of aviation maintenance, including general aviation, airframe, and power plant subjects.
The successful candidate will adjust instructional technique to suit student learning styles while maintaining a positive learning environment. Must collaborate with students and peers to establish a safe environment where safety is not compromised and discipline is strictly enforced. Must be willing to teach various classes within the Aviation Maintenance program. Must have recent experience in aviation maintenance. This position requires in-person and evening availability.
- Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certification
- Two (2) years relevant industry experience
- High School Diploma or GED
