Position: School Psychologist [82850]

The School Psychologist supports students’ academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional development through assessment, intervention, and collaboration. This role helps ensure students receive appropriate services and supports to succeed in the school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional functioning
  • Interpret assessment data to support eligibility and guide intervention planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and evidence‑based strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation to school staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active or eligible Michigan School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data analysis, and intervention strategies
  • Understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and support diverse student populations
