Sacred Heart Academy
Sacred Heart Academy, located in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, is seeking a 6th Grade Teacher.
Applicants must have a State of Michigan teaching certificate valid for the school year. Catechetical certification and participation in the VIRTUS program will be required of anyone who is hired. Applicants should be practicing Christians. The ideal applicant will be a teacher who has a genuine passion for teaching in a Catholic school, a high comfort level in managing a classroom of fully engaged learners, a commitment to joyful collegiality, an ability to communicate effectively with parents, and a strong foundation in subject curriculum.
Sacred Heart Academy is a KP-12 grade school of approximately 440 students. This posting will close when filled. The pay is a minimum of $42,000, depending on experience.
