Lunch Aide

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Delta Center Elementary as a Lunch Aide from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient lunchtime experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive school environment.

• - Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• - Assist in the distribution of meals and snacks, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines.
• - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lunch area, including tables and serving stations.
• - Encourage positive social interactions among students and assist with conflict resolution as needed.
• - Monitor student behavior, ensuring adherence to school rules and policies.
• - Support students with special needs, providing assistance as required.
• - Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student concerns or incidents.
• - Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.

• - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• - Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• - Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards students.
• - Must pass background checks as required by school district policies.
• - Availability to work during lunch hours on designated school days.
