Field/Service Technician
We are seeking a field quality assurance technician based in Lansing, MI, to partner with a regional utility company to deliver energy‑waste reduction programs. The selected candidate will travel from home to customer sites on a set route, conduct basic quality checks on installations, and occasionally observe field technicians during customer assessments.

- Conduct quality assurance reviews involving on‑site verifications of items in the field and electronic review of field data entered into program databases.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to customers on items installed in accordance with client specifications.
- Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products.
- Use technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
- Travel throughout a defined territory.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- 21+ with a clean, valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive on behalf of the company.
- Must successfully pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug test and a motor vehicle report for a satisfactory driving record.
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Target compensation: $24.00 – $24.25 per hour. Actual salary determined based on internal equity, market data, and applicant’s skills and relevant experience. This is a safety‑sensitive position and may include field work, warehouse work, or driving.
