This is a high-impact leadership role supporting electrical engineering operations at a nuclear power plant, offering long-term career growth, stability, and the chance to make a real difference in the energy sector.
If you're a licensed engineer with experience in power systems, substations, and electrical design for regulated industries, this is your opportunity to step into a supervisory role that offers both technical and strategic influence.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering teams supporting nuclear plant operations and upgrades
- Oversee system evaluations, electrical calculations, and design packages for high-voltage equipment, switch gear, protective relaying, and power distribution
- Ensure compliance with NRC regulations, industry codes (NEC/NESC), and site-specific procedures
- Manage design reviews, QA/QC, budgeting, and project schedules
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, safety, and regulatory teams
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3+ in a supervisory or lead role
- Nuclear, utility, or large industrial plant experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEEE standards, NFPA, NEC, and NESC
- Excellent leadership, technical documentation, and team coordination skills
