Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Employment Type: Contract through 04/16/2027 (High potential for extension)

Location: Jackson, MI 49201 (Other Considered Locations: Grand Rapids, Saginaw, MI)

Note: Travel to project sites every other week to verify job status.

• The team consists of 2 members, with plans to add 2 more.
• Training will be provided on-site in Jackson, including one‑on‑one sessions to familiarize with systems, software, job assignments, and workflow.

As a Project Engineer/Manager
, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple projects (5‑10 projects simultaneously). You will be involved in the following phases:

• Planning (2‑3 months)
• Design (4‑6 months)
• Construction (3‑4 months)

The typical duration for a project lifecycle is approximately one year, with project budgets ranging from $2M to $3M
.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing and coordinating all stages of the project, from planning to construction.
• Ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams.
• Providing status updates and reports for all ongoing projects.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing projects from planning to completion, with a proven track record of seeing projects through from start to finish.

  Experience in utilities, construction, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Education: Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Software Proficiency: Experience with Primavera P6, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
