Entry Level Vision Automation Engineer
CSI is seeking entry level automation engineers to join our growing team in Lansing, MI. Looking for individuals with a willingness to learn, a passion for vision automation, a positive attitude and hard work ethic.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Machine vision experience and applicable experience within the automotive and manufacturing industries.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations including the set-up and programming of vision equipment as well as testing, report writing and presentation.
- Utilize hardware platforms from manufacturers such as Cognex, Teledyne Dalsa, Matrox and Keyence.
- Support technical staff at all levels throughout a project (assessment, design, development and deployment).
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Willing to learn basic safety standards.
- High motivation to expand technical knowledge base.
- 1-5 years of experience in Automation
- Ability to receive, understand, and carry out instructions.
Required minimum High School Diploma with Automation experience.
Preferred Associate or Bachelor degree
