Manufacturing Engineer | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Conduct time studies and develop standard work procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
