This faculty member will be responsible for the instruction of classes/labs related to Manufacturing Engineering Technologies – Design Programs. Areas of concentration include Basic Mechanical Drafting, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Metrology and Coordinate Measuring Machines, Mechanical Systems (Mechatronics) and Robotics. The individual will teach courses in Manufacturing Engineering Technologies consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. The ideal candidate will have current, relevant industry experience.
Proficient communication and computer skills are a must.

Teaching assignments may include daytime and/or evening hours.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting or Design/related field with a minimum of 2 years recent/relevant work experience.
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting or Design/related field with a minimum of 4 years recent/relevant work experience.
- Journey status in a manufacturing trade and 4 years recent/relevant work experience.
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years recent/relevant documented work experience.
- 5 years CAD drafting, design, or manufacturing or industrial design relevant work experience.
- 3 years teaching experience.
- 5 years of specific software skills in NX CAD, Solid Edge, Solid Works or comparable.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
