Tooling Process Engineer

Responsible for program managing any equipment going into their specific zone within General Assembly; handles roughly 30 workstations per zone. Works with design team to ensure floor layout accuracy; educates operators about new equipment; addresses processing issues; devises material flow strategy; and handles automation design and buyoff responsibilities.

• 2-3 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer handling tooling qualification.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional communication with Engineering, UAW, leadership, and suppliers.
• 2-3 years experience with Plant Manufacturing.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Automotive program management experience.

Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay range: $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
