Director Technical Sales and NBD - Thermodynamics​/Food Equipment

Global engineering firm involved in the design, commissioning and start-up of spray dryers, evaporators, tower driers, box driers, vee-bottom box driers and other industrial air heating and handling equipment for food and dairy processors throughout North America.

Territory: US/Canada.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales of technical solutions to satisfy customers processing needs with close collaboration with the process engineering director and with a group of engineers involved in the design of the company’s equipment and systems.

Work closely with the general manager in identifying new business opportunities, interface with potential new customers and maintain existing key-customer relationships, prepare technical sales presentations, and negotiate and prepare contracts within the company’s guidelines.

Serve as a member of the company’s management committee. Be involved in all phases of the design and development process for the projects, domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

BS engineering or related field.

10+ years of experience in sales and process engineering.

Knowledge of design and calculation of vacuum evaporation and spray drying processes, ideally applied to food and dairy applications.

Experience with process environments and sanitary standards for the food industries a plus.

Preparation of PFD and P&.

Experience working with Solidworks and AutoCAD.

Negotiation skills for commercial and contractual matters

Risk management processes.

Proficient in Microsoft 365.

Compensation:

Base salary $145-155K + Bonus 30%, incentive-based profit sharing, stock purchasing program on performance and loyalty, 401K with company matching contribution, health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, health spending account, paid time off (vacation/sick days), paid holidays, relocation package available.
