As a Senior Energy Services Project Developer, you sit at the center of that change.

This role serves as the leader and integrator of the project development process—bringing together customer objectives, engineering expertise, financial analysis, design, estimating, construction planning, performance requirements, and innovative technologies into complete solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Working closely with Sales, Energy Engineers, Design-Build Specialists, Measurement & Verification Engineers, Operations teams, contractors, and customer stakeholders, you will lead the development of complex energy, infrastructure, and facility modernization projects from opportunity qualification through contract execution.

Successful Senior Project Developers understand how building systems, operational requirements, financial objectives, project execution strategies, emerging technologies, and customer outcomes work together to create successful projects.

Our Energy Services business is built on decades of HVAC and controls leadership — and it s expanding into the vertical markets shaping the next decade of the built environment. In this role, you ll help develop projects across:

• Electrification & Decarbonization — heat pumps, hydronic modernization, and net-zero pathways for aging building stock.
• Core HVAC & Building Automation — the Trane and multi-vendor systems and controls that remain the backbone of every high-performing facility.
• Renewable Energy & On-Site Generation — solar, combined heat and power, and distributed energy resources that lower both cost and carbon.
• Energy Storage & Grid-Interactive Buildings — battery storage, load flexibility, and demand management that turn buildings into grid assets.
• Intelligent & AI-Enabled Buildings — analytics, digital services, and AI-driven optimization that keep performance improving long after project handoff.
• Mission-Critical & Data Centers — thermal management, high-density and liquid cooling, resilience, and efficiency for the facilities powering AI and the digital economy.
