Job Summary
The Process Engineer develops,optimizes, and supports high-quality PCBA manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Improve manufacturing quality and efficiency using data-driven, cross-functional approaches
- Develop and maintain PFMEAs and implement risk-reduction actions
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for new products
- Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for processes and equipment
- Designfixturingto reduce risk and improve quality
- Create andmaintaindetailed work instructions
- Support production in resolving issues and preventing recurrence
- Implement LEAN principles to reduce waste
- Support capital equipment selection, qualification, and implementation
- Write and execute Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols
- Apply IPC-A-610 requirements for acceptability of electronic assemblies
- Train production operators as needed
- Support customer corrective actions
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned processes/equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of PCBAs and electroniccomponentpackages
- Strong attention to detail and continuousimprovementmindset
- IPC-A-610 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
