The Lansing Symphony Orchestra is seeking violinists for auditions scheduled at the Wharton Center on the Michigan State University campus.
The Final date to receive applications is August 31, 2026.
Audition deposits are $20, and candidates must notify the operations coordinator of any cancellations at least one week in advance to avoid being charged.
The LSO operates on a per service basis, with a principal per service rate of $137.68 for the season. Additional compensation for travel and parking is available for musicians coming from outside the Lansing area.
The orchestra presents a variety of performances, including 5 Master Works and 3 Pops concerts each season, along with chamber series, educational performances, and summer concerts, providing ample opportunities for musicians to showcase their talents.
