Financial Analyst | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Delta Township that are seeking skilled Financial Analysts. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively by joining our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability by product line.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Identify and recommend cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Support capital expenditure planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations to track and analyze key performance indicators.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, absorption costing).
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) for data extraction and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex financial models in Excel, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present financial insights.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations and their financial impact.
