Underwriting Associate - Commercial

As an Underwriting Associate within PNC’s Statement Spreading organization, you may be based in Pittsburgh, PA;
Philadelphia, PA;
Cleveland, OH;
Kalamazoo, MI;
Houston, TX or Denver CO.

• Complete basic due diligence, document processing, and financial/statistical analysis in support of the underwriting function.
• Assist in preparation of business cases for credit approval; you do not have credit approval authority.
• Review relevant forms, provide analysis, and order reports.
• Ensure accuracy and/or completeness of relevant information and documents throughout the underwriting process.
• Perform basic financial analysis, such as cash flow and collateral analysis.
• Research and respond to internal/external customer questions and inquiries.
• Receive spread requests for renewals or new commercial loans via the workflow tool, review financial statements for accuracy, and return them to Underwriters for correction if necessary.
• Input data into internal spreading software to maintain consistency for approval from Underwriters.

• Associates degree or equivalent experience; typically 3+ years relevant experience.
• Military service and related certifications may be considered in lieu of formal degree.

• Base Salary: $31,000.00 – $66,125.00 (may vary by location, performance, experience).
