Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team, based in Flint, Michigan. This role involves managing various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of data, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

• Handle multiple entities' financial operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
• Manage multi-state payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries as part of the financial reporting process.
• Prepare financial statements that accurately represent the organization's financial status.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure complete and accurate audit trails.
• Utilize Quick Books for financial management and reporting.
• Handle month-end close activities, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and reported accurately.

• Candidate must hold proficiency in handling multiple entities.
• Experience with multi-state payroll is required.
• Skills in payroll management are essential.

• Audit experience is highly desirable.
