Senior Commercial Relationship Manager – Food, Beverage & Agribusiness

Join our dynamic Commercial Banking team, where you will have the opportunity to work with businesses generating annual revenues between $50MM and $500MM. Our team is dedicated to becoming trusted advisors, helping companies in our community to grow and thrive.

This hybrid role focuses on expanding new commercial business while managing an existing portfolio. While loan products are foundational, cross‑selling other products to both current and prospective clients is essential in this position. As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will connect clients with the products that best meet their needs.

In this role, you'll enhance the Bank's profitability by developing new commercial relationships and fostering existing ones. A well‑rounded understanding of credit and non‑credit products, including treasury management and trust services, is crucial. The ideal candidate will be resilient, adaptable, accountable, and motivated.

• Building and maintaining your own commercial loan portfolio by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the Food, Beverage & Agribusiness sector.
• Driving revenue growth through effective prospecting and making strategic referrals as directed by senior management.
• Maintaining strong client relationships through regular outreach and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Developing a deep understanding of the industry and identifying key players to inform your strategies.
• Managing the quality of your loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with credit standards.
• Negotiating credit terms and preparing trust‑worthy credit documentation for loan committee presentations.
• Collaborating with clients to comprehensively understand their business and financial needs.
• Analyzing client businesses to assess their eligibility for various bank products and services.
• Providing mentorship to junior Commercial Banking Associates as necessary.

• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in the Commercial Banking sector with a focus on Food, Beverage & Agribusiness.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A genuine curiosity about business operations and a passion for helping companies succeed.
• Strong knowledge of credit, banking products, services, underwriting, and overall banking operations.
