This position serves as the sole financial specialist for the Office of Early Education (OEE), including Childcare Licensing, Child Development and Care, Great Start to Readiness Program, Early On, Early Childhood Special Education & Family Services. This position is an expert for OEE budgets and is responsible to develop, track, monitor, and report on the Office’s annual operating budget.
Responsibilities- Develop, track, monitor, and report on the Office’s annual operating budget.
- Develop and maintain annual spending plans.
- Formulate payroll projections.
- Prepare and present budget comparisons to actual reports.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any major with at least 12 semester (18 term) credits in accounting, finance, or economics.
Experience:
Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Financial Analyst, including at least two years equivalent to a Financial Analyst P11, Accountant P11, or Auditor P11, or one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst 12, Accountant 12, or Auditor 12.
